Treating Customers Fairly

Silverhurst Wealth Partners is committed to the FSCA's Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) framework. We embed the six TCF outcomes into every aspect of our business.

The six outcomes

How we apply TCF

Our advisory process is designed around trade-off transparency — we show you what each option costs, what it covers, and what you give up. We do not recommend products based on commission. We use technology (AURA) to eliminate bias and ensure every recommendation is data-driven and personalised. All advice is documented in a Record of Advice (ROA) which you review and approve before any transaction proceeds.

Conflict of Interest Management Policy

Silverhurst Wealth Partners manages conflicts of interest in accordance with the FAIS General Code of Conduct and Board Notice 58 of 2010.

Our approach

We are an independent FSP — we are not owned by, affiliated with, or contractually bound to any product provider, bank, or insurance company. This independence is fundamental to our ability to provide unbiased advice.

Remuneration transparency

All remuneration received from product providers is disclosed in full in the Record of Advice (ROA). Where commission rates differ between products, this is noted and the impact on our recommendation is assessed and documented. Medical aid broker commission is regulated by the CMS at 3% of the total premium or R125.86 per member family, whichever is lower — it does not vary by plan richness, eliminating a common conflict vector.
